Effective transportation planning requires research and analysis of current conditions and forecasts based on what may happen in the future. It also requires coordination, cooperation and consensus-building with our partners and the public. By combining a rigorous technical analysis with comprehensive public involvement, we can work together to ensure our transportation network serves our region now and in the future.
Working with our partners and the public, the North Florida TPO develops an annual planning work program , five-year transportation improvement program and a long range transportation plan.
